What is an authorized inspection body?
An authorized legal entity (OPO under Slovak law) is a body that, under authorization from the National Labour Inspectorate, verifies compliance with technical-equipment safety requirements per § 14 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll. This covers official and repeat official tests, review of design and construction documentation, and issuing certificates for inspection technicians — typically required when putting designated technical equipment into operation.
